and a special event charges may apply depending on event

72 hour notice of cancellation is required.   If you have to cancel within 72 hours of your reservation and we do not rent the room, we must unfortunately bill you for the full amount.  This is necessary because most trips to the Big Bend area are planned well in advance and there are limited upscale accommodations.
